The Line

There's a line in the sand with religion on one side and Jesus Christ on the other. Religion harshly judges the people that Jesus loves. I want to spend the rest of my life being on the right side of the line, don't you? Who knows what difference you will make in somebody's life if you do.

Great post.

My pastor often says that God hates "religion".

"Rel;igion" being those things that WE DO to try and ascend to the divine.

God has come all the way down to us, in His Son Jesus and has done all that is necessary for our salvation.

That is Christian faith...which is very different thn Christian "religion".

Amen Steve,

People always look at me funny when I tell them that I don't practice religion. They may say, "But I thought you said you are a Christian?" I say, "Well sure, I am a Christian, but what does that have to do with religion?" Sadly, there are many to whom Christianity is nothing but a religion. Jesus didn't come to show us the way, He is the way.

Thanks for dropping by!
