Beyond the walls

Throughout the world an unrelenting hunger to know the life of Jesus is inviting thousands of men and women beyond the structures of religious performance into a meaningful relationship with him that is transforming their lives. And even though they’ve been marginalized by false accusations, they are learning to follow the Shepherd instead of the voices of those who want to use fear to draw them back into dependency on religious structures or leaders.

Great stuff, Gary. Hope you've been well. :D

Hearing the Shepherd instead of all the voices has been a big one for me. I've still got a "foot inside the door" within the IC, and I love the people but so much of what they do and teach involves fear and a call to join "their" vision, rather than a call for everybody to be who they've been created to be.

Thanks, Joel. I have been doing well...aside from the coming pain of sequestration. We are pretty busy at work, so I don't have a lot of time to think about it. How are you?
