Now we know that whatever the Law says, it speaks to those who are under the Law, so that every mouth may be closed and all the world may become accountable to God Romans 3:19
So let us come boldly to the throne of our gracious God. There we will receive his mercy, and we will find grace to help us when we need it most. Hebrews 4:16
It's definitely true. I've noticed it in my own life. Whether it be prayer or whatever. It's awesome to not have to feel guilty whenever you fall short, which I constantly do.
As soon as I come back under law, I see immediately how many areas I fall short in. And I end up empowering my flesh when I go under law.
Interesting how the Law reveals sin, but never life.
I hope your law-keeping is going well, Judah. I'm sure by now you've found the power to keep not only the tithe of anise, mint and cumin, but to keep the weightier matters of the law as well. Not to mention the power to keep the law to love your neighbor exactly as you love yourself. You know, by selling all you have and giving to the poor.
There is power, power, wonder working power, in the law, in the law. There is power, power, wonder working power in the precious law of the Lord!

I love this. I heard this just the other day.

Judah,
On the contrary. Whenever Jesus taught the Law, He effectively shut the mouths of those He was speaking to or about.
Joel, yes that's true. He shut the Pharisees mouth because they were keeping the Law only outwardly.
Jesus even chided them for missing the "weightier matters of the Law".
Gary, that's a great bit from Romans. I do believe all the world is accountable before God because of His definition of sin, which is the Torah.
